Born and raised in the Greater Cincinnati area, Eric Petree has always had a heart and prayer that God would provide the opportunity to lead a church that looks like heaven. Today that prayer is alive as he and his wife Kimberly pastor Citygate Church; a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church where diversity and unity are at the core of the church values. One visit to Citygate Church and you quickly experience the power of diversity and unity in everything they do. In the past 14 years Citygate has grown from a congregation of 70 to a thriving multi-site movement.

Eric and Kimberly lead with an authentic love for people and a passion to unite the power of Pentecost with the excellence and creativity of God. This approach has created a place where people can touch God, encounter Jesus Christ, and be radically changed and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Eric’s vision to impact the community has had a national reach and draws partnerships with leaders like Pastor Joel Osteen and the Champions Network, and Pastors Tommy and Matthew Barnett at the Dream Center. These opportunities continue to allow Eric to impact an even broader community with the gospel. He shares the word in a creative and dynamic way that makes it memorable, easy to understand and relevant for application to daily life.
